AIO Printer A940 unable to disable color print feature

My printer is installed over a network.  The "print color images in black & white" appears in grayscale on the printer preferances screen on the remote computer.  I am unable to choose this feature so I can print only in black & white over the network.  The computer that the printer is attached to is able to use this feature. Any ideas to fix?  Thanks
