Be careful with Tech Support

Had a conversation a while ago with tech support. They told me I needed to buy a specific part in order to fix and error that I have with my printer. They gave me the part number and i ordered it through Dell. Now that I have received the part, they are telling me that there are no instructions or schematics to replace the part. you have to be a certified Dell something or other in order for them to tell you how to do it. 

So why did you recommend and then sell me the part!?!?!?! Be careful! Typical huge company Indian support - they tell you whatever they can to push you to a different phone number or get you off the phone. They dont actually think about what your problem is and how to fix it.
