C1765NFW Printer will not recognize the Yellow Printer Cartridge

We have a fairly new C1765NFW printer.  It is the second one, we had to send the first one back because the fax would not work.  Now this one is not recognizing the yellow ink cartridge. I turned it off and unplugged it, pulled the yellow cartridge. Turned everything back on and put the cartridge back in.  Worked fine and the cartridge is half full.  As soon as someone tries to print, it start making clicking sounds and reports the error message again that the Yellow Ink Cartridge needs replaced.  We have tried 3 new cartridges.  It will not let me run any cleaning or adjustment procedures.

Anybody have any issues like this?  Any solutions before I go through tech support?
