Can't add new Printer to Product list?

Hi,

 

New to the Forum and need some guidance. 

 

I just purchased a V305w Printer from Sam's Club and tried to add it to my Products list on My Dell Account.  The system will not recognize the Service Tag for the new Printer.  Anyone else have the same problem?  If so, what's the solution??

Thanks for the reply.

 

I tried to register and the system rejected the Service Tag as well.  Don't understand the issue.  I'm sure I'm typing exactly what is on the back of the machine and it is the same as on the labels on the box.  Somehow the system just isn't recognizing the Service Tag.   Maybe it's just a system problem with the Dell site?  They may not have the Service tags entered in their system as valid yet????  The tag is the same size as all the other eqyupment I have listed and registered on the site, but just wont validate......frustrating a bit...................

DDOSA,

 

You'll need to register the printer first. Registering your Dell Product It will take a period of time, then you can add the printer to your Products list.
