DELL 2350 DN PRINTER ERROR MESSAGE 30.04 INVALID REFILL; CHANGE CARTRIDGE

I have a 2350dn mono laser printer that has been working fine with a genuine Dell cartridge.  All of a sudden, the printer will not print and gives me the error message: 30.04 Invalid Refill; Change Cartridge. The cartridge has never been refilled.  Does anyone know a work around to get the printer to work?

Hi SkipinSC,

Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum.

You can reset the printer to factory defaults by following the below steps

Printer Settings

Press the Menu (3) Button.

Press Right to "General Settings" and press ü .

Press Right to "Factory Defaults" and press ü .

Press Right to "Restore Now" and press ü .

NVRAM/Network Settings from Configuration Mode

Power off the printer.

Press and hold ü and right arrow buttons.

Turn on the printer.

Press Right to "Factory Defaults" and press ü .

Press Right to "Restore Base" or "Restore STD NE" and press ü .

"Submitting Changes" will be displayed on the screen as the settings are restored. The printer will automatically restart on its own.

Reseat the toners and then check. You may also try a known good toner cartridge
