Dell 1355cn - Cannot Install Scanner

I have this printer in one of our offices and it scans with no problem on two other computers. The two that work are Windows XP and the one that doesn't is Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit). The two that run XP have the printer installed and PaperPort recognizes it as a TWAIN device and will scan with no problems. The Win 7 machine on the other hand will not detect it as a TWAIN device at all. I checked the compatibility web page, and it said that it was compatible with Windows 7. So, I downloaded the latest drivers, installed them applied them to the printer, and restarted the machine. It still would not recognize any scan functionality.
