Dell Photo Printer 540
Can I use any other type of paper and/or ink other than Dell. I did not expect to have to ORDER every time I need to. That is a pain!
Who makes the Dell 540? Could I use their products off the shelf?
Perhaps I should return this before I really resent it..

Unfortuntely, you are obligated to buy Dell products directly from Dell as very few other third parties sell them. If you want to buy paper from another company pertaining to your dell photo pritner, goood luck searching the internet but you probably won't find anything. Thus, you have to purchase it directly from Dell.

What do you mean by "very few third party"? Who or what are they? Perhaps I need to return this to Dell. I do not like being obligated to just them.
