Disable Bi-Directional Printing

I dont think this question has been asked:
My Dad bought an Inspiron 1000 and got a Dell AIO 920 printer with it a few months ago. He now wants to put the printer onto his wireless network. I bought a hawking print server which didnt work. The Hawking tech support people said that the printer needed to be set up for non-Bi-Directional printing. Is this possible, or are there other options for putting the printer on the network, the Inspiron is my Dad's only computer with Windows XP/2000?
Thanks,
Doug

Me too
I have a Dell AIO 922. I have connected it to a " 3Com Office Connect 54 Mbps 11 g Print Server", but the 922 doesn't work on the print server? Do anybody knows if it's possible to do this? If it is; Can anybody help me with the necessary settings, please?

Yours sincerely,
Andreas Larsson
