GX620 + Belkin USB Switch incompatible?

Our company recently bought a set of GX620 series pc:s... We've been trying to connect a printer into 2x PC simultaneously with a BELKIN 4 slot USB peripheral switch(local), but for some reason GX620 won't recognize the device. (it does if it's connected straight into the printer). Our company currently has two types of computers. GX620 and the old 270 ones i suppose it was. We have succesfully installed the switch into two old computers via USB, but not the old ones...

We assume that the circuit is faulty and doesn't supply enough power for the switch... There are no switches with power supply on market (as far as i know) so there is currently nothing we can do about this. If anyone comes up with some ideas i'd like you to reply a comment to me please.

(In other words. The switch is kind of an adapter that connects 2-4 computers into 1 peripheral and can switch in between of them instead of plugging and unplugging etc.)

The switch itself looks like this (but with 4 slots, check below)
