Is there a way to use the Dell printer 725 under Windows seven 64 bits ?
Hi,
My question is summarized in my post title :
Is there a way to use the Dell printer 725 under Windows seven 64 bits ?
I did not find the related driver on the Dell site.
I found the driver for Windows XP 64 bits, but such driver did not allow the printer to work under windows seven 64 bits.
I thank you anyone in advance for any help.

Patrick,
First run Delete Print Jobs to remove any stuck print jobs from the queue.
Disconnect the printer.
Download and run the patch(printer cleanup utility) until it prompts you to restart your computer.
Restart your computer. Make sure the printer was removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal
Download the XP 64-bit drivers. Install the XP 64-bit drivers in the XP Compatibility mode You'll get a message, the printer is not connected. Connect the printer at this time(powered on)
Links to the patch/drivers can be found at...

I'm having the same problem that Patrick posted above. I followed all of your directions and still had no luck. Are there any other options or steps I might be missing?
thanks,
Christine

Christine,
Was your computer upgraded to Windows 7 or did it come with Windows 7?
Operating system in English or another language?
What virus program and firewall are you using?

My computer came with Windows 7, the operating system is in English. I was using a free trial of AVG 2012, but it had recently expired when I was attempting to download the driver. I also think my firewall was included in AVG so I don't think I had one on when I tried. I've since downloaded the free version of AVG.
