Odd letters in scanned documents
Just got a 948 and am using Vista. When I scan a document it looks perfect in the preview pane but when I choose to send the image to the Microsoft Works Word Processor something strange happens; I can see little bits and pieces of my document on the page but there are lots of letters and things that have nothing to do with my scanned image. All I need to do is scan a handwritten letter and send it as an attachment. Anyone know what's going on?

When you're importing the scanned image into Works, are you using an OCR application?
If so, they rarely compose hand-written text into readable characters. That said, you should be able to scan the handwritten text and save it as an IMAGE that can be ATTACHED to your Works file.
