Printer AIO 924 slamming....
I have tried cleaning the encoder strip and it printed three pages, but has started back up again... can the strip be replaced or do I need a new printer???

I have tried cleaning the encoder strip and it printed three pages, but has started back up again... can the strip be replaced or do I need a new printer???

The issue with the encoder strip can be a problem, if it's not seated correctly. I only have instructions on how to clean it, but it gives you an idea on what it should look like when installed properly.

Clean the Encoder Strip
It is possible that dust can gather on the encoder strip which will make it very difficult for the printer to determine where the carriage is on its track. To clean the encoder strip, perform the following steps:
