Toner Exhausted Message Dell 1235CN
I bought a new yellow toner cartridge a few months ago and it now has a "Toner Exhausted" Message. I know there is still plenty of yellow toner still in the cartridge as I barely use color printing. Does anyone know how to get rid of the message and keep printing? Is there a way to get rid of the message without buying a new toner cartridge? I would greatly appreciate the help.

Hi LettuceInspire,
I hope that the toner you purchased recently is a Dell branded toner. The message "Toner Exhausted" appears when the Toner cartridge is completely empty, and your printer stops printing. Since you say that it is not empty I can suggest that you go ahead and reseat the Toner cartridge. The follwing link will help you to open the manual:

Please refer to page 53 for removing and installing.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know in case of any queries.
Thanks and regards

Thanks for the quick reply. I ended up purchasing a new yellow toner. I don't think the toner was genuine Dell. In the mean time, is there a way to just print in monochrome. Can I turn the color function off and just print in black and avoid the toner exhausted message? Your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi LettuceInspire,
I did research your query and the Dell 1235CN doesn't have the option to print in Monochrome. You can check the features of the printer in the following link:
