trying to install a dell 135cnw on a dimension 5100 using XP professional, have tried to down load the drivers but they don't want to load and open, anyone have any ideas
The Dell 1355cwn Color Laser Printer has three drivers (Print, Scan and Fax) for Windows XP. You will have to download and install all the three drivers in order to use the Print, Scan and Fax features.
These drivers are executable zip files. Once you download the file, double click on it and extract the contents into folder. When the extraction completes, a folder “English” would be created. This contains two more sub folders, Drivers and Updater. The Drivers folder contains two more subfolders “Win_x64” and “Win_x86”. The Win_x86 folder contains the driver. When you receive a pop-up to install the drivers, you have to select this folder.
