dell 5210n ipds card
does anyone know the product number for this card? i was told it was available (at $800) but i'd like to look around for some prices.

Dell does not sell this card.
You "might" be able to get it from Lexmark (T640), but no guarantee's it will work in the Dell version.
UPDATED: I found out from another source that this card will NOT work in the Dell 5210n.

Hmmm - thank you. I wonder why the sales rep told me it would cost $800. Maybe he/she was thinking of the printer itself. Thank you then. So I guess there is no way that this printer can print IPDS - is that what you are thinking?

If printing IPDS requires an optional card, then no.
The earlier M5200/W5300's accepted this card, but it's been Firmware inhibited in the 5210/5310n.
