dell photo 964
i have windows vista x 64, and am currently having problems with printer not communicating with copmuter. i have done all the recommended steps, uninstall, re install, chesk usb cable, un plug re plug ....... after all this the printer still does not work, plus i get an extra message about a thunker spooler apis 32- 64 not working. any suggestions?

Did you use Dell's Vista 64-bit drivers and where did you locate them?
Hit the Windows key and the R keys at the same time. Type
services.msc
Hit enter. Look for the dlcj_service, make sure it's set for automatic and restart the service. Also look for the Print Spooler, make sure it's set for automatic and restart the service.
