printer 3115cn set up knocked out USB connections
Hi:
This is my first message.
I need some advice.
I installed a Dell Multifunction 3115cn printer to my Dell Dimension 5150 with OS Windows XP.
This process seemed to knock out some of my USB ports. The 2 side USB ports on the monitor don't work and the 2 front USB ports on the CPU don't work. The USB cord from the new printer works in one of the back of the CPU USB ports.
Did I do something wrong with the printer installation?
Most importantly - how do I get the other USB port connections to work now?
Thanks.

Unplug all of the USB's and reconnect all but the printer, see if the printer is the culprit!!!

Exactly where did you initially plug-in the 3115cn USB cable?
Did you re-boot the PC after disconnecting the 3115cn when the ports died?
