My AIX discoveries run for hours sometimes. When you group them together like i do i just run the discovery and come back later or at the end of the day and it should complete.

It did't not fully complete. It was not able to discover topology. "No Response From Topology Service"

Did it have a corresponding error code either displayed or shown in the error logs?

Hi ecinv,
You can use the below mentioned link to check if the Topology Service is running or not:
https:// /cgi-bin/mon.cgi
Also, try to Power Off and then Power On the Prosphere vApp in vCenter and then run the discovery job again.
In case the issue still persists, I would recomend opening a service request with EMC as there may be some other parameters that need to be looked into.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Madhur
