Dell Back & Recovery Premium Window 8 - System backup working?

Hi

I have upgraded to Dell Back & Recovery Premium Window 8.  I have created a Systems Backup to an external drive.  It takes around 30-40 minuets says the process is complete, however I cannot see any files on the backup drive, there is literally nothing viewable in internet explorer to prove a backup has been performed.   By contrast, when I used the Dell tool to create a rescue disk the files are viewable, also when I backup data, I can see the files created.

Are these system backups invisable, or has something gone wrong?

I would appreciate advice.
