Dell datasafe local backup 9.4.60 consolidate failed

I have Dell DataSafe local backup 9.4.60, on the about page it does not indicate if it’s Basic, Pro or Raid1?

 The cord was pulled out by accident during a consolidate and now it takes over 12 hours to back up (where it only took 6 or less hours before) and the software will not consolidate. I am using a 1TB Seagate Freeagent Goflex external drive to back up to.

 I have looked at your FAQ and do not see my problem in any of them. I want to delete all backups on the drive (no option like that with the software”) and start from scratch.

 I can find no way to set the drive to the factory settings (I also have XP folder backups on the drive, which I do not want to delete). I have put the entire XP folder in an “old backup” folder.

 What do a user do when the CONSOLIDATE fails?
