Microsoft Outlook Web Access

I can access the web access to read, but when I try to reply, the whole reply block is blank and a red X in a square is all that shows in the reply section. Even "new" emails  do not have the content section accessible. I have a XPS 410 and running VISTA. Any ideas on how I can "respond" on Outlook Web Access???

I am only responding since I use Outlook Web Access to retrieve email from my school email account. I know that public institutions are often way behind the consumer market when it comes to software.

Perhaps the domain that you are trying to reply from is not capable of handling the Vista format. You may need to contact your network administrators. I know this was an issue initially when XP launched and our school district was strictly in the 2000 format. It took some time for IT to resolve this issue.

The problem may not be with you, but instead, with them. It's worth a shot, especially since Vista just launched such a short time ago.

Hiya Deergod

This is a known problem due to the fact Vista no longer supports Directx web controls, however it is the Exchange Server that you log onto that needs an update NOT your computer.

Explains the problems and how to fix the issue. So if you chat to your Tech Guys who maintain your servers they can fix the problem in about 3mins without effecting other users.

Cheers
