Photoshop UI lag on Dell XPS 9560 4K

Hi, I bought a new Dell XPS 9560 with 4K display. It is an amazing machine, but Photoshop is very slow on my notebook.
For example: the Layer Style window late about 4-5 sec after the double click.

It is very annoying and I can't do anyting with this problem. I also have higher CPU usage.
Please give me some advice about this, because it drives me crazy. Its a very expensive notebook..

  • I have the latest drivers (nVidia, Intel Graphics)
  • Ps use the nVidia GPU
  • I'm in an Active Directory

Hi!

I had to (clean) reinstall windows 10. But I didn't set up the Active Directory domain.

After that I installed Ps again. The problem solved. Ps is working well right now, there is no warming.

(same drivers, same ps sttings... really weird)

Hi iltirisz,

Thanks for posting.

Other Photoshop users have reported similar situations on different brands of computers.

Are other programs affected as well? or is it just the Photoshop?  You may wish to contact Dell's Software Support Center which is a paid service we offer that might be able to assist you further.  http://dell.to/2wFz9l9

Additionally, you might try contacting Adobe for support with how to configure the software to work better.  Photoshop:  http://dell.to/2wFOpi5
