Restored Dim. 5100 and now NO Microsoft Office
I had some problems with my computer so i restored it to the factory settings. I was not givin a CD of any type so I did this all through the safe mode. Now my word and excel will not work becuase its asking me for the products key that i do not have (not that I know of). Any suggestion in how to get it back?

the product key is on the sleeve that the original disc came in. if you have lost it you will need to buy another copy.

My problem is that it was set up already when shipped to me. I have no disk, but i will look to double check :emotion-42:

by performing system restore you have set the system back to as it was when you first turned it on. therefore you had to have entered the product key initially to use the software. you could not have used M$ office without entering the product key.
