Roxio Creator 2009 - d3dx9_33.dll not found
I am trying to install and run Creator 2009, but when iI try to use skide shows or video, ie anything using the graphics, I get d3dx9_33.dll not found. I have downloaded and installed the latest directx files from both Dell and Microsoft. d3dx9_33.dll is in the cab files thet were downloaded, but Creator cannot find them. I am beginning to wonder if my video chips support directx 9.0. I have a dell latitude E6500 with the Intel 945GM chipset. Does anybody have an opinion?

@ Jesse: The word 'Roxio' was obviously meant to be a link, but it's not clickable?
@ rjthein: What version of DirectX did you download/install? I assume it was the latest November release?
Have you also tried reinstalling Roxio Creator?

You don't say if your'e running XP or Vista, but in XP the file d3dx9_33.dll shoud be in the C:\Windows\System32 folder. If you have it in a cab file, perhaps you could extract it from there and move it to where it should be.
Have you run dxdiag to see id your Directx is correctly installed?
