Roxio Creator Premier 10.1 update problems

Hi,

I have Creator Premier 10.1 and the updates do not install. I try to download them and they do not appear in the requested folder. I try to install them but I get an error:

Error in executing file. C:\Users...\Dell101patch.exe. Description: The operation completed successfully.


The updates are:
Roxio Creator 10.1 Patch for Dell - May 2008
Update Manager Critical Update December 2008

I have contacted Roxio but they said since it is a Dell OEM version I need to contact Dell. So do I ignore the Creator Premier update request window or where do I get the updates?

I figured it out after contacting Dell. You must be logged in as an administrator for the updates to work. Either change you user account to adminsitrator or use the admin account - you will have to go through the registration though.
