Hi KBA5870- As I mentioned previously in this thread, The automatic re-installing behavior is due to the Dell delivery program caching the FastAccess installer file. The reinstall behavior is NOT intentional. FastAccess has no control over the reinstall process. Dell and SensibleVision(creators of FastAccess) are currently isolating the root cause of this behavior.
For a workaround- the steps listed below will stop the software from automatically reinstalling again. Please contact our support team if you need further assistance with this. They'll be happy to help you resolve this problem and/or any other problems that you may be experiencing with the software. Support @sensiblevision. Com
Thank you.

Uninstall FastAccess removes FastAccess from the computer. The uninstall may be launched from the short cut on the Start\Programs\FastAccess Facial Recognition\Uninstall or install/uninstall function provided in the Windows Control Panel.
Unfortunately that's the same uninstall program that Add or Remove Programs uses. It says that it requires a CD to uninstall, which is pretty ridiculous. So basically I'm going to have to order a Dell backup CD just to uninstall FastAccess?
According to my understanding, the primary reason that an uninstall (which is normally quite smooth and complete) might not work would be if parts of the program have already been removed or disabled separately. Try re-enabling anything that you've blocked or de-installed by hand and then try the uninstall again. If that doesn't work, then yes you'll have to re-install it to put the functions back that the software needs to perform a complete de-install.
Depending on where you live, you may be able to register at https://smartsource.dell.com/ to download an installer file instead of calling Dell tech support to request a backup CD.
It might also be worth mentioning that even if you prefer to type your password into Windows for some reason, that FastAccess does a lot more than just that. In particular, many people get great benefit and convenience from the Web Login feature. FastAccess can remember usernames and passwords to websites and then type them in for you later...but ONLY when your face is visible. I personally just about couldn't live without this now that I've used it for a while.
I want this application uninstalled from my new Dell Laptop. I have uninstalled this software no less than five times. This last time it was found under programs TWICE. I uninstalled one, rebooted, came back and there was the second one. So I uninstalled it, rebooted. Back to control panel and darned if the program isn't still there AND still in my task tray.
Even disabled, this program hijacks my camera. The camera comes on for no reason and stays on and I'm sorry, but Uncle Sam does not need a back door to watch me play games on Facebook.
How do I get rid of this program, completely and permanently, once and for all?
Thank you for reposting this. I was reinfected with this malware on 11/20 and I still haven't figured out how, though I suspect it snuck in during a PC update. I knew there was something I needed to delete from the last time, I just couldn't find it until I found your answer above :)
Next question: how to prevent this software from downloading again.
Hi Wanderist- First, FastAccess is NOT malware! Malware is software that is intended to damage or disable computers and computer systems. FastAccess is a legitimate face recognition software that's been around for a decade, and is used across the globe by millions of satisfied users.
The auto re-installing behavior is due to the Dell delivery program caching the FastAccess installer file. FastAccess has no control over this process. The software shouldn’t auto reinstall again, if the steps I listed on this thread are completed correctly.
Please contact our support team if you need further assistance with this. They'll be happy to help you resolve any problems that your having with the software. This forum won’t allow us to include emails or websites, just go to sensiblevision (dot com) and then click Products>Get support. Click Windows support and you will be able to email us directly.

Hi Wanderist,
Does deleting the FastAccess Facial Recognition folder from the Dell Digital Delivery directory, stop the software from automatically reinstalling?
Folder location: C:\ProgramData\Dell\Digital Delivery\Downloads\Software\FastAccess Facial Recognition
Did you use steps similar to the ones below for uninstalling the software?

Having a similar problem. I've uninstalled this program several times, but somehow it keeps reinstalling itself every so often.

Open the dell digital delivery program and uncheck the FastAccess entry. This will stop the software from automatically downloading again.

There is no such option found in dell digital delivery.
Using version 2.9.901.0

See if deleting the FastAccess installer files from the Dell Digital Delivery directory clears the automatic reinstall behavior.
C:\ProgramData\Dell\Digital Delivery\Downloads\Software\FastAccess Facial Recognition
Note: ProgramData directory is hidden by Windows default.
To make it visible:
1. Press the Windows key+E
2. Top left- Press the "Organize" button
3. Select "Folders and search options" in drop down menu
4. Click the "View" tab at top of box
5. Under "Advanced settings"- Locate the "Hidden files and folders" entry
6. Select "Show hidden files, folders and drives" radio button
7. Press apply, then OK
