Will it void Dell warranty on my Inspiron 3268 to remove McAfee?

This is a very invasive and annoying program, and I have no intention of renewing it. I never activated it in the first place, and yet it continues to bother me with pop ups multiple times a day! I went into services and disabled what I could, but yet it continues on. My computer is protected using Malwarebytes Premium, and Windows Defender. What is the proper way to uninstall it? McAfee recommends going through Apps in Windows 10 to uninstall, and if unsuccessful using their MCPR tool. Is this correct? Thanks

Thank you for your message.

Uninstalling McAfee will not void your system warranty.

The best way to uninstall McAfee will be to use the MCPR tool, you can click here http://bit.ly/2BJFuxZ to download the application.

Please click on the message tab next your avatar– click “New Message” & search for my Dell username (Dell-Sreejith R) & send a private message with the service tag, registered name & email address for any assistance.

Removing software, such as McAfee, will not void the warranty.  That was one of the first things I did when I got a new Dell laptop last year (and what I've done with other brands too).  I use Defender and Malwarebytes.

I uninstalled McAfee using Revo Uninstaller Pro (I have a paid version).  They offer a trial of it.  I like it as it also scans the registry and hard drive for left overs after an uninstall.

Thanks about Revo, but I think I'll try what they suggested first. I wouldn't have even thought about uninstalling it until the free period was over, but's it's so aggressive and I can't seem to stop it. I even disabled it in the computer start up menu, but there it is!

Yes MCPR is the way to go.   McAfee Consumer Product Removal tool (MCPR) is for the complete removal of McAfee Security products in order to install a different antivirus or other relevant programs.

It does not void your warranty.

Thanks for the help! I finally couldn't take it anymore, and used their uninstall tool! So far everything seems fine.
