3400MP Projector Display with Dell D610 Latitude laptop

Looking for solutions to get my laptop work correctly with 3400MP projector. Currently, when I connect and attempt to have a spreadsheet displayed, the screen zooms to 400% of image size. When I attempt to reset the zoom to 100%, it defaults to 400%. I I can not get it to display correctly through the projector. Ideas and solutions are welcome
