M209X, Amber Bulb after replacement

After bulb replacement, I experience the following:

• All Lights Flash for a second then go off, Power Lights says lit for 4 second.
  • No Response from Power Button.
• Push and hold the Power Button, plug in the unit (while holding the Power Button). All 4 arrow buttons, “Check” Button Lit, Menu Button Lit.  Unit powers up (without bulb) for 40 seconds.  Unit reboots.  Unit will repeat this process 3 more times automatically.  Finally, on the  4th reboot, it displays just the Amber Bulb light.
• Put original bulb back in, same behavior. 

 Is there possibly a master reset on this unit?
