10-gig card for PowerEdge 2900ii

Hello

I was wondering if anyone knows of a single- or dual- 10-gig card that will work in the PowerEdge 2900ii. I see a lot of forums are stating they are not backward compatible with PCIe 2.0 cards. Suggestions? We need more speed for our older backup storage server.

Thank you!

Here are the other part numbers I see:
CYK8V - Intel 2P 10GbE

T645H - Intel 2P 10GbE

XR997 - Intel 1P 10GbE

If you're looking for a 10GbE card for a copper line, we have RK375 listed as supported. It is a BCM57710 card with a single port. The other cards I see would require SFP+ modules.

Hey Dylan,

Thank you for the response. I am good with SFP+ modules, if one is supported by that machine. My other servers utilize SFP+ connectors. If you know of a single or double that utilizes a SFP+ module, I can take a look at it and debate if we will use copper or DAC. Thank you again!
