15FP Console Doesn't see servers

I have a brand new 24U Short rack with the 15FP console and an 8 port switch.  I also have a new Poweredge 750 server installed.  The problem is that the console doesn't see the server.  If I plug a monitor directly into the monitor port of the server I see the installation screen.  I have checked all cables/connections.  In Oscar all the ports show up with a red X.  However, I am not getting a 'no signal' error (like I do if I turn off the switch).  My console is plugged into the A port and the server into port 1.  Anyone have any ideas of what I might be missing?
