Add product to Dell website: R710 service tag not recognized

I am trying to add my product to my Dell account. I am also trying to download the Platform Update for a 11G R710 server. The service tag is not found. What do I have to do next?

Whats the name of the file you want to download?

I want to update the lifecycle controller, BIOS, etc. The server is a VMware server, so I do not have the Windows OS available for updating.

I've tried:

  • Updating Platform Manager using ftp.dell.com. Learned that no longer works for 11g servers.
  • Creating an image using Dell Repository Manager. Can't get the SUU ISO option to create an ISO.
