Cascaded KVM Switch Not Detected Properly

I'm using a PE2161-DS2 KVM switch. I have two other KVM switches, both from Compaq. Both are connected to the PE2161 Switch in the same manner - using the Dell SIP connected to the ARI port on the Dell Switch. Both Compaq KVM switches are the same model.

When I launch OSCAR, one of the compaq swithes is recognized as a SW-8 the other as a SRVR. When detected as a SW-8, I can configure the switch as an 8-port switch and view all attached systems through OSCAR. But with the other KVM switch, detected as a SRVR, it is not possible to modify this into a 8-port switch. So then I can't see the servers from this switch in OSCAR.

My question is how can I get the Dell KVM Switch to recognize both Compaq KVM cascaded switches as SW-8?

You can make sure that the second Compaq switch has the latest firmware. The Dell and compaq switches aren't compatible with each other because they both have different cascading protocols that aren't seamless together. The second switch where it is detected as a server you may hit enter for that switch that is seen as a server and hit the "print scrn" key to launch the second OSCAR menu.
