Connect PowerEdge Servers and MSL2024
Dears, I need your support, I have Dell PowerEdge R730 and T310 and I need to connect them with HP MSL2024 Tape Library. My question is what SAS card/Adapter model is required as I'm a little bit confused. Thanks in advance.

Hello
You should check with HP to find out which controllers are compatible with the tape library. You can then reference the manual of the server to find slot specifications. You can compare the slot specifications to see if any of the available slots will accommodate the controller.

The supported controllers for our external storage devices would be the 12 Gb SAS controller on the R730. I'm not sure if it will be compatible with the library.
