Dell PowerEdge R540 - Unknown USB Device (Link in Compliance Mode)

Hi all,
I installed today a Dell PowerEdge R540 server.
I installed Windows Server 2016 DataCenter edition, after that I executed SUU software to upgrade drivers and firmware.

In this moment, I noted this warning inside Device Manager (Win+R > devmgmt.msc)

I tried two times to uninstall and reinstall this USB device, but nothing changed.
I don't have any driver and firmware upgrade available.

There aren't any USB devices connected to this physical server, but the issue persist.

What can I do?

Thanks a lot
Federico

Hello,

I think that there is an error in the description, because the description written for Dell driver pack is the description of Dell server update utility.

The driver pack is drivers used during Windows OS deployment using the lifecycle controller.

The Dell EMC Server Update Utility ISO (SUU) is a local 1-to-1 utility to update BIOS, firmware, drivers, and application on PowerEdge servers to the latest version.

Thanks
Marco

Thanks for your explanation.

Does "SUU" include drivers present in "driver pack"?

Thanks a lot!

It should, but it will be used within the OS, after it is installed. Where the Driver Pack would be used to update the Lifecycle Controller in preparation of installing the OS.
