Dell R340 ipmitool dcmi power reading error read
Good day. There is a park of servers based on R340 and R540. there was a need to read the power consumption parameters through ipmitool
Dell R340 ipmi access enable:

Installed 2 power supplies with cables.
And why in the R540 nothing needs to be turned on, and everything shows, but in the R340 something needs to be done?
Do I understand correctly that this is what we are talking about?

What power supply are you having on R340? Is it a cabled PSU or Redundant PSU? Power monitoring only supported on redundant PSU configuration. Can you also check whether iDRAC is showing power monitoring information for R340.

Can confirm that iDRAC 6.00.00.00 resolve this problem
