FX2 IO Passthrough modules - What SFP+ transceivers are supported in VMWare?
We just got another FX2 chassis with 4 blades in. In the two IP Passthrough modules in the back, what SFP+ modules are supported and will work with VMWare ESXi 6.0 with the internal Broadcom 10gig nics we got for our FC640's?

Let me ask again, waht SFP+ Transcievers are supported on the pass through module in an FX2 chassis?
The chassis is populated with 4 FC640 servers. They have the dual port Broadcom 10 gig cards internal to them. They will be running VMWare ESXi 6.0 with the latest patches for 6.0. What brand SFP+ trancievers can I use?
Cisco 850nm mm fiber SFP+ 10 gig?
Generic FS.COM mm fiber 850nb SFP+ 10 gig?
Extreme Networks 850nm mm fiber SFP+ 10 gig?
Brocade 850nm fiber SFP+ 10 gig?
How about Brocade Passive or Active 10gig Twinax cables?
I get most of my stuff from fs.com so let me know if there is a particular SFP+ favorable than another. Prefer to use multimode OM4 fiber optic cable.

Hi,
Can you private message me a service tag so we can get some additional system information?

Hi, thanks for choosing Dell. Yes I looked into it as well didn’t see any information table on it. Personally I don’t think it would be too much of a problem since it’s Passthrough (bypass) but again, there’s no official information on it please know that.
