R610 Raid 10 Drive Size Choices

Hello everyone. I have a question about Raid 10 dive sizes. My R6190 has two 75 gig drives and four 150 gig drives and I would like to know the best configuration.

The application is to use the server as a pfSense router. I need the speed of R610 to handle router run program applications to keep track of my multiple internet connections (eg ntop, squid etc). I really don't need the R610 to have a lot of storage capacity.

Suggestions on how to arrange the drives would be appreciated.

Hello

It looks like the system was configured to have a RAID 1 for the OS and a RAID 10 for data. This is a fairly standard configuration. RAID 1 and 10 are the fastest RAID levels with any form of redundancy or fault tolerance.

2x75GB - RAID 1 for OS, 75GB usable space
4x150GB - RAID 10 for data, 300GB usable space

Thanks
