R720 ddr3 training Failure - FPT - Write DqDqs DIMM A1 Memory Training Failure detected. Failed Write DqDqs DIMM A1
I have a Dell Poweredge R720 with the following error:
ddr3 training Failure - FPT - Write DqDqs DIMM A1 Memory Training Failure detected. Failed Write DqDqs DIMM A1
Is the most likely cause bad DIMM Slots or Bad Ram Stick? I have a total of 80 GB of RAMM on the Board and only the B Side seems to be working. Both Processors are registered and working.

Is the error seen only on slot A1 or other slots also. One way to check whether the issue is with slot or DIMM module is to swap the DIMM to another slot and check whether error is following the slot or memory module.

I also experienced the same case, and have tried swapping the DIMM to another slot and the error is in the memory slot.
is it only by using one side, both processors can work properly?
