ST600MP0006 blocked on R630
We installed Seagate ST600MP0006 HDD's on R630 server with H730 PERC. But all disks are blocked. Why? It's an enterprise product and nothing special - 512 native, standard. So what's the reason? BIOS and RAID updated to latest versions.

All the HDD are non-Dell-certified parts?

This is the Dell part you might be looking for-
Part #:TC05P
Part Desc.:HD,600GB,SAS12,15,2.5,S-KSTRL
As zetroxero said previously you need to make sure if the part is from Dell or not. Also when you say by "blocked" did you mean the controller is not detecting HDDs?
Please note that HDD "ST600MP0006" is only used for Compellent , Equallogic products. Again make sure what you have is a Dell part. Hope this helps and have a great one!

Yes, they were non-Dell certified.

We use a lot non Dell drives and never got such a problem.
Anyway it's an old story. We used those disks on HPE server and purchased different ones to that R630.
