Issue installing cluster (RP4VMs)
Managed to install the cluster on our primary site fine but when following the same process to install on our DR site I'm encountering an issue and have no idea how to proceed. Both sites should be the same (VxRail).
The error is around 53%;
Provisioning and configuring virtual repository. >
could not create virtual repository.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
Additional info:
Version 5.2 running on vSphere 6.5

Hi Idan,
Yes, tried a retry. Also tried blowing away the appliances and re-deploying, same issue unfortunately. It doesnt appear to create the RPvStorage folder on the Datastore.

Having the same issue. What was done to fix it?

There can be multiple environmental reasons for this to happen. Like stale storage providers, permissions issue to write to the repository datastore/VMDK and more. We introduced many deployment-related fixes lately so I would recommend to freshly deploy RPVM 5.2.2.1. Make sure to use the Uninstaller to cleanup stale deployments before retrying deployment.
I suggest to raise a SR with support if the issue persists.
Hope that helps,
Idan
