Moving from RecoverPoint CRR to SRDF
Hi Experts, IHAC who is currently using RecoverPoint to replicate between their Prod and DR sites. They are looking to refresh their existing VMAX2 arrays with new VMAX3's and ultimately SRDF between Prod and DR. The am hoping to find out: Can RecoverPoint (CRR) coexist with 2-site SRDF so as to seed the data on the Prod VMAX3 while still maintaining DR via RecoverPoint between the original VMAX2 arrays. Also, can RP coexist with 3-site SRDF so as to seed the data on the Prod VMAX3 and also the DR VMAX3 in an attempt to limit the amount of time they are without DR during the cutover to the new VMAX3's? Thanks in advance.

There is a tweak requirement to allow this functionality but it is provided in conjunction with RPQ approval.

Thanks Rich. What might be involved with the tweak, or would it be mentioned with the RPQ if approved?

It should be provided as part of the RPQ. If not then please come back to me.
