Orphan RP masking view left on VMAX AFA
Customer has the VMAX AFA as part of vBlock installation. however RP masking view was created without customer's knowledge.
Customer planned to use Vplex splitter, not Vmax AFA splitter.
And customer had to re-image the RPA to 5.0.1 to support Networker. We then realized an RP masking view was created. we tried using symrpi to deleted the masking, but with no luck. Add -symforce didn't help either.
Please advise how we can delete it.

Thanks forshr, but symaccess command doesn't work either.
It complains:
- the action connot be performed because the specified device is a recoverpoint device.
we used -rp option as well, but failed with the same error.
Any idea what else we can do? Thanks.

Have you tried 'symaccess -sid xxx -delete view -name xxx -unmap'.

it didn't work. we used this to remove it eventually.
symrpi -sid ###-cluster TMP-RP environment –remove -symforce
