RP4VM with VxRail

Hello,

My customer have 2 different VxRail clusters in 1 datacenter, with 1 vCenter server managing both VxRail clusters.

We need to configure RP4VM for local protection.

Is 1 vRPA cluster for each VxRail cluster and only 1 vCenter server supported?

Is 1 vRPA cluster for both VxRail clusters and only 1 vCenter server supported?

Are there any limitation to the number of vRPA clusters that can be deployed with only 1 vCenter server managing 2 or more VxRail clusters?

Appreciate any advise.

Thanks.

Rgds,
Kay Shin

Hi,

A single RPVM cluster can manage 5 vCenters and a single vCenter can have up to 50 RPVM clusters.

Note that the vRPAs would need to communicate over TCP/IP with all ESXs in a cluster with protected VM.

Hope that helps,

Idan
