RPA/EX RPA/SE confusion
Hi,
Based on the order I saw the following items: I have a VPLEX at site 1 and need to replicate to a VNX at site 2. Based on the license, for VPLEX it is a RP/EX license. Based on the item "RP/SE to RP/EX upgrade", I have the impression that the license key generated for VNX is RP/EX. The reason I am asking is because the installation wizard will ask for licensing type during the installation. Apparently for VNX the license team only generate RP/SE license for me and VPLEX I am getting RP/EX license.

You should open up an SR with the licensing team and request your key. Be sure to provide the SO number and they will generate an RP for VPLEX key based on that.

Sorry I think I misread your message. On the non-VPLEX side you can not use an SE license. You have to also upgrade to a VNX/EX license on that side. You can not mix and match license types.
