want to know something...during the test, does the lun (replicated) on DR site mounted automatcally by SRM as datastore on ESXi or i have to mount it before running the test??
isn't it a problem of permission (privilege) as i used a user in domain controller with lot of privilegefor installing SRM and start the services??
more questions for understanding the problem i face.
No. What SRM does via the RP-SRA is to generate it's own RP bookmarked snapshot. Once it has been generated it has to be replicated and then distributed to the journal and replica after which SRM will use it by selecting it as the PiT snapshot in conjunction with the recovery mode. If the RP-VSI is installed then a specific existing PiT snapshot can be pre-selected from the journal and SRM is directed to use this specific snapshot.
Can you check the journal lag of the replica copy to see if there is a back log prior to initiating the test and consider increasing the storage.commandTimeout parameter to 600 (10 mins).
The issue may be that SRM is timing out because it is waiting for the snapshot it has created as part of the recovery process to replicate and fully distribute. Increasing the wait time may resolve the issue but it isn't necessarily the best solution.
Can you also locate the SRM logs and check these for ERROR messages.
What user/password did you use when registering the RP-SRAs? Make sure this is not locked in RP by using the security-admin user and the unlock_user command.
Are their any datastores in the PG that are not part of the CG?

boxmgmt is not the correct user. Use admin or create a specific RP user with admin privileges for SRM to use.

You have the SRA installed and configured with the an RP cluster, right? Also, have you enabled SRM management control for the CGs??

The RP-SRA should be version 2.2.0.3.
SRM will automatically mount the datastores.

Does have SRM have full admin access right?

1--> i made SRM test via administrator@vsphere.local account user from vcenter web client
2-->i used user "boxmgmt " for RP-SRA during installation
3--> for the test i used one datastore "TESTSRM4"

Hi,
I have changed the user boxmgmt to admin and it's the same error.
the problem is to the side of snapshot of the replica (DR). why it's impossible for srm use the snapshots??
i asked to me many questions for trying to understand.
Thx
