vRPA, a-sync only?
Hi,
according to the rel. notes of recoverpoint 4.0, the vRPA is a-sync only.
According to the online training, sync is also possible with the vRPA.
So is it possible to do sync replication with the vRPA'?

Thank you for the comment - indeed this is a mistake in the vRPA release notes. It has now been corrected and will be updated in the next release of the documentation set.
To be clear, vRPA supports both Async and Sync.

That should of read as "Watch out for an updated version of the RecoverPoint vRPA Tech Note".

Hi John,
As Boaz has already stated the vRPA will support synchronous replication because at 4.0 we now support synchronous replication over IP. Watch out for the RecoverPoint vRPA Tech Note which should be published to EMC Online Support very soon.
