RM 5.5.2.0 getServerIpByIQN failed with an error as follows: NOT FOUND.
Hi
I am replicating Hyper V Datastores remotely from a VNXe3300 to a VNXe3100. The datastores are replicated to generic iSCSI LUNs as is prescribed by EMC. I have two sessions working perfectly but one which does not want to work correctly. I am running Windows 2012R2 as the Hyper V hosts, RM 5.5.2.0 on all systems. The job log for the failed run using local Snap instead of remote is below. This error is the same on remote replication. As I said, two other remote jobs are working fine.

I am going to suggest you open a Service request for this issue. I'm not a celerra expert, but I looked back to see if I ever saw that error before, and there was a thread where someone else got that error before. in their RM debug logs there was a warning right before the "000034" error. it was suggested that:
I see entries about snapapi issuing CHAP
challenges. I wonder if they have CHAP
setup?
but there is no way to tell if that is your issue as well.
so...
Open a Service Request, supply EMCReports from both the RM Server and the production host, as well as the job history you have placed here.
