Replistor and ADAM

Can I use Replistor 6.2 to replicate Microsoft ADAM data while ADAM is running?

Thanks.

OK, I believe it is obvious that the ADAM data can be replicated, as long as the ADAM service on the target is not running. After synchronizing the ADAM data directories, I find that I am unable to restart the ADAM service and receive the following in the ADAM event log:

The Directory Server detected that the database has been replaced. This is an unsafe and unsupported operation. The service will stop until the problem is corrected.

User Action:
Restore the previous copy of the database that was in use on this machine.
In the future, the user is strongly encouraged to use the backup and restore facility to rollback the database.

So the question is, does anyone have any experience using Replistor to replicate an ADAM database to another server, and what steps are required to get the target server to successfully open the replicated ADAM data (after of course stopping replication)?

Any help appreciated.

You need to think of RepliStor being application unaware.
The question you need to focus on is "What data do I need from ADAM in order to successfully make it functional on another server?"

If you can answer that question and use RepliStor to replicate that data, then it should theoretically work.

RepliStor has never been qualified with ADAM, but I do not see why it would not work after answering the above question.
