Error in AS SAP configuration
HI Geeks,
Below is the error message Iam getting while configuring AS SAP at SAP end, Successfully done from Documentum side.
Error message as follows:
Error in HTTP Access : IF_HTTP_CLIENT-> RECEIVE 1 ICM_HTTP_CONNECTION_FAILED
Does any before has experienced with this type of error. Please help!! required your valuable inputs

Hello ,
Thanks forall your replies... I resolved the issue .. the problem was with Firewall.. some times when fire wall is blocked the request do not pass through and throws error above type. Now fire wall is opened but facing couple of more issues ...

Dear Kbtcs,
As a communication issue there can be many causes. Take a look at http://forums.sdn.sap.com/thread.jspa?tstart=0&threadID=1194416 It has many possible solutions, threads, and SAP notes mentioned. Usually in SAP there is a transaction SM59 that handles the communications and the SAP Basis Administrators can look at the issue and solve it possibly by turning on traces and the like. They will need a whole lot more information then just the message. Good luck.

This happens usually when you have incorrect server information/repository etc in content repository configured in SAP. Please make sure you have above information correct and you can connect to ASSAP server from the SAP server you are configuring these content repositories.
